I am pregnant and my oldest is over 2 years old
Our space is specifically designed for babies under 2. However, we understand that moms often have multiple kids! Older children are more than welcome
I am not a mom yet can I come to an event?
Of course! We are a motherhood community from preconception to motherhood. Women need their village and support system before pregnancy and baby is born. Come mingle whenever you want!
I am a dad, anything for me?
Dadurday and Family Fun days! The last Saturday of the month is specifically just for dads! Bring your baby to place they are already familiar, meet other dad's in the community, and give mom a break ;)
Family Fun days are every Saturday (besides the last) and bring the whole family!
What if I can't make a class/event I signed up for?
We have a 12 hour cancellation policy for classes and events. Our childcare is a 24 hour policy. We ask that you give as much notice as possible so we can open the seat for another mother
Is there parking?
We do not have onsite parking. We are right off of the Ninth Street light rail station and there is street parking. Use the parkmobile app to pay for parking
Do you host Birthday parties and special events
Yes! Our space is perfect for first birthday parties! Send an email to events@rootedwc.com for more information
Is childcare drop off or do I have to stay?
You are able to drop off and use our facility (lounge, coworking, wellness studio) or anything the Monroe Center area has to offer. You must be within a 5 minute phone call in case of emergencies.
Who is taking care of the babies in childcare?
Our playgroup leaders are fully vetted and have gone through a strict hiring process. Some are mothers with babies themselves and are trained in responsive parenting and whole-child development practices. They offer a variety of group and individual activities focused on connection, communication, and movement.
Can grandma or my nanny bring my baby?
We are a community for moms to meet moms. We love nannies and grandparents but this is not the space for them. You are welcome to bring them with you when you come
